I conceived and produced the world's first variable duration documentary. I worked with a BBC Radio 4 production team to design a narrative and workflow which delivered the linear broadcast programme and a web-based variable duration programme. The programme could be played back an any length while maintaining the integrity of the story. I led a team of experts who created a reusable technological implementation that allowed other responsive radio programmes in the future.
