I conceived and managed the team that produced a BBC Radio 5 Live football experience which allowed listeners to choose the seat from where they wanted to hear the football match. Listeners could also choose the balance between crowd and commentary audio levels. I built the first prototype and directed a team of 5 engineers to build a html5 player and the streaming infrastructure required to deliver the live experience. This worked live for the Champions League Play-Off final from Wembley Stadium in May 2013. You can read my blog post about it here.
